I believe that when other people experience the fresh breeze of our own self-exposure, they become addicted to the authenticity.
Transparency is slippery and messy, and just when I think I'm being transparent and vulnerable, I find that I'm pretending to be transparent and vulnerable so that others will be impressed by my transparency and vulnerability.
I am finally beginning to realize (more so over this last year than ever) that a large part of the intensely life-changing grace I've received from Jesus not only includes forgiveness of sin, but also a community/family/new race called the church where masks can be burned and life becomes exciting again.

it is messages like this that make you my hero... fresh word.
i long for mask-less small groups... the difficulty is that it cannot be taught, but only demonstrated ;)
